Rosanne Barr's Tweet Regarding Valerie Jarrett

This is probably old news by now. In any event, I would like to voice my thoughts on the left’s reaction to comments made by Roseanne Barr about Valerie Jarrett recently.

To briefly summarize the matter, Roseanne Barr said the following about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett: “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj [Valerie Jarrett].”

The left’s reaction to this was that in comparing a black woman, Valerie Jarrett, to an ape, she was being racist. I do not think this is accurate. Racism is the notion of ascribing moral, social, or political significance to a race as such. In other words, the racist judges and treats, better or worse, entire races—that is, every member of a given race, based on his or her race. If Roseanne wanted to be racist, it would not suffice to simply compare a black person, Valerie Jarrett, to an ape. Rather, she would have had to compare the black race—black people—to apes.

Rosanne’s comment was not an insult of blacks or African-Americans as such. It was an insult of Valerie Jarrett specifically. Roseanne as a member of the political right presumably was making a personal insult of Jalerie Jarrett because of her leftist politics.

Now, is comparing a person to an ape mean and insulting? Yes it is, but that is precisely the point of an insult! The left insults people on the right all the time. The thing that pisses them off is when someone on the right insults someone on the left—and that is why they condemned Roseanne with such scorn and indignation for her tweet. Their attitude: You will not get away with making such a nasty insult about one of ours! And of course, whenever possible, try to fire off the “r” accusation against your political enemey on the right: racist! That’s right—that’s the quickest, easiest way to try to get someone on the right to back down and shut up: accuse them of being racist!

The part the left loves best is when the accused comes back in the next day or two with his or her head bowed down in shame and issues a lame apology mixed with some half-baked excuse as to why he or she accidentally committed the supposed sin. Subsequent to the aplogy, the high-priests of the left—those in the mainstream media—and their loyal activists minions on social media can mete out their punishment by continuing to heap their moral condemnation on the guilty bastard for the ensuing week or two. Oh, and how those on the right fall for this ploy every single time. When will they learn?!

The left can be as vile as vile can be. For not only can they spew insults toward the right on a daily basis with impunity, they can take it one step further! They can threaten to blow up the White House because they don’t like the President whom the people of the country elected (Madonna); they can write plays depicting the assassination of the President they do not like (New York City’s Public Theater); they can create music videos in which they kill the President via execution style gunshot to the head (Snoop Dogg); they can hint at an actor assassinating a President (Jonny Depp); they can do a photo shoot which proudly displays the severed head of the President they hate (Kathy Griffin)—apparently assassinating him by conventional means such as stabbing, á la Ceasar, or shooting, á la Lincoln or Kennedy, is not sufficiently violent enough an assassination for Mr. Trump; they would want to barbarically cut off his head like some savages in the Middle East still do to people.

For these creatures who presume themselves to be the height of refinement of culture, politics, and civiliztion, murdering a President they didn’t vote for is apparently not off limits; however, Roseanne Barr comparing one person—one person—who happens to be black, to an ape is a moral outrage! Give me a fucking break!!

On a related note, there may be many reasons why some people like Mr. Trump. One of those I’m almost certain is that he is the only politician or political figure so far in our times who doesn’t and probably will never fall for this pitifull bullshit type of stunt that the left tries to pull.

The take away from this whole Roseanne, Valerie Jarrett, tweet circus is this. It is the left saying to everyone else: How dare you be as vile, mean, nasty, and insulting toward us as we are to you!
